1. Alert concerning Balsamic sauce with strawberries (in a wine vinegar base) sold in 150cc bottles. The item originates in Italy, marked as kosher under the supervision of Rav Shalom Almaliach – Milano. The product does not carry a label showing it is approved by the Chief Rabbinate. Rabbi Almaliach has stated he does not give supervision to this product, which may contain non-kosher wine. (photo 1 left in Hebrew document). (more…)

Veterinary service inspectors report that Albert Aranov Butcher located at 18 Schneur Zalman Boulevard in Rishon L’Tzion was selling traif meat which came from Palestinian Authority autonomous areas. The local rabbinate of course immediately revoked the store’s kosher supervision.

Kashrut inspectors who arrived without prior notification at Boris’ Bakery (123 Livinsky Street, Tel Aviv), found labels for other products, “Borris’ specialties” and “Tuvlia’s specialties”, both claiming kashrut supervision from the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Rabbinate. It has been learned the items do not have any kosher supervision whatsoever. One should not buy anything from this company. Merlot Wine Alert

Ein Kerem Merlot Sira wine 2006 (barcode 7290003541430) states it is mehadrin min ha’mehadrin under the supervision of Rabbi Dov Lior Shlita and the OU USA, kosher of Passover. An inspection reveals the wine is a fraud and it does not have any kosher supervision. (See photo 1 on the left side in the original document at the end of this article).  (more…)
