Inspectors in the Chief Rabbinate’s northern district found that the Taam Teva catering company owned by Mr. Guy Keshet had treif meats in his refrigerators. The company’s hashgacha was suspended pending a hearing and an investigation.
Correction: In a recent posting pertaining to infestation in peppers, from Rabbi Moshe Vaye, I erroneously wrote one must cut them both lengthwise and widthwise but in fact, the correct translation from the Hebrew was “cut lengthwise OR widthwise”.

What happens if the investigation finds the allegations to be true? He gets a slap on the wrist, and life goes on as usual?
If I were running the show, standard operating procedure would be, that anyone caught with kashrus fraud will be banned for life from getting a kashrus certificate. Which means, that they would need to sell the business to someone else.
If this policy is clearly made known in advance, I guarantee you that kashrus fraud will go down dramatically!
