Pesach Cookies

April 1, 2014

The following information is translated from Chief Rabbinate of Israel Kashrus alert 015/5774 dated 7 Nissan 5774.

Some of the Pesach type cookies sold in the marketplace today are the result of a chametz manufacturing process. Shoppers should verify cookies are labeled “kosher for Pesach” in sealed factory wrapping.

It is not advisable to buy these cookies unpackaged by weight when they lack certifiable kashrus.
