The item appearing below is a translation from the Hebrew original appearing in the Chief Rabbinate of Israel Kashrus Enforcement Unit alert number 011/5774, published on 26 Adar I 5774.

An unauthorized kosher label has been detected on packages of Lindt chocolate imported by the Royalty Company (barcode 3046920012010). The packages say “kosher/dairy for those who eat chalav akum milk powder, under the supervision of the Rabbinate of Switzerland and with import permission from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel.

The item is not authorized as kosher for import by the Chief Rabbinate and Chief Rabbi of Zurich Yair Abel reports he does not give hashgacha on the product and never has.

The product was found in one of the Rossman chain stores, this one in Haifa.

Lindt products imports by the SIDS Company or by James Richardson bearing the hashgacha of the Triangle K are kosher for those who eat chalav akum milk powder with import permission from the Chief Rabbinate.
