Crystal Flavored Carbonated Drink Without Kashrus

The following is from Chief Rabbinate of Israel Kashrus Update 002/5774

Of late, cans of Crystal flavored carbonated sodas have been found in areas of the country without kosher certification. An inquiry to the company reveals that indeed, there is a production line that does not have kosher supervision. The cans have Hebrew and English writing and appear almost identical to the kosher certified cans.

Therefore if you buy this product you must make sure there is a kosher certification on the can. It should have the supervision of Rehovot Rabbinate. (JKN ADDS: There may be a certification from a badatz agency too).

We found cans like these in a candy kiosk in Netanya.
My sons were so disappointed when they had to take them back and request a refund.
    Luckily we noticed in time.
This should not be allowed at all…
