From Chief Rabbinate Kashrus Update 019/5773

The Sadah Fish store located at 180 Ramaz Street in the old Ashkelon Shuk advertises itself as “kosher mehadrin” yet it sells various treif seafood items.

The bogus kosher claim includes displaying the logos of the Machon L’Mitzvos Tluyos B’aretz and Chug Chassam Sofer Petach Tikvah.

After learning of the situation, both kosher agencies contacted the store and instructed the owner to remove their logos from his sign.
