The OU announces it no longer provides hashgacha for the Joy Restaurant located in the German Colony neighborhood of Jerusalem.

No explanation for the announcement accompanies the alert.

    I believe it is still under the Jerusalem rabbanut hashgacha. If that is true, then you should have included that in your alert. Otherwise it appears that it has no supervision, which is not fair to the restaurant.

    As the author has doccumented, Rabbanut does not supervise its restaurants well.

    DA-that is hardly an answer to my question! Let’s try to stick to facts & certifications. If the restaurant is still certified by the rabbanut, it shud be stated. Potential customers can make their own decisions as to whether to eat there or not.
