Prima Petit Buerre Factory Loses its Hashgacha

Following are excerpt was taken from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel Kashrut Enforcement Division dated 28 Sivan 5772.

The ‘Prima’ Petit Buerre (פתי-בר) biscuit company has lost its hashgacha as confirmed by the Chief Rabbinate Nationwide Kashrus Division and Badatz Chug Chassam Sofer Bnei Brak due to serious kashrus violations.

Therefore, the products (barcodes 7290008723121 (chocolate biscuits) and 729008723138) sold in 1.75kg boxes do not have a hechsher. These boxes are found in the Kimat Chinam supermarket chain as well.

    Please note, this is not Elite’s brand of Petit Buerre, but rather those of a company named “Prima”. I got scared, but after reading the original alert, there is a picture of the packaging and mention of the company, and it is not our beloved brand-name Elite Petit Buerres! PHEW!
