0041Following the OU’s release of a letter last week amending chodosh dates for certain General Mills cereals sold in Israel under the Nestle name, the Chief Rabbinate of Israel has followed suit, releasing an update to alert mashgichim around the country of the status.

    Perhaps the rabbanut permit department should take another look. According to the permit, these cereals are not hametz.
