Kashrut Alert from Badatz Mehadrin: Fresco

26 Shevat 5771 January 31, 2011 Badatz Mehadrin (Rabbi Avraham Rubin) announced on Monday that despite removing its hechsher from the Fresco Company, the latter continues to use the logo on its products without authorization. Products mentioned in the alert include (1) Chef Ohf, (2) Chef HaYam and (3) Chef HaTeva.

Update from Badatz Agudah Regarding Sushiagogo

25 Shevat 5771 January 30, 2011 After hours of phone calls before and after shabbos, Baruch Hashem, the issue regarding Sushiagogo (listed as a Ramat Beit Shemesh business) has been clarified, thanks mostly due to cooperation of Rabbi Shimon Kroizer, a senior official and a Jerusalem mifakeach in Badatz Agudat Yisrael.
