I have noticed a number of Pesach kashrus pitfalls, and several pizza shop renovations.

I was in the shuk in Yerushalyim on friday of chol hamoed. Many many places, including butchers, only had a teuda up till 13 Nissan. Also, there were places selling cooked food with an out of date teuda, and saying it was cooked off site under supervision. This is just not OK, especially given the strictness of Pesach.

Also, in the few days since pesach I note that most places haven't changed their out of date certificates.

I noticed a Mehadrin pizza store open last night with the owner there with several arab construction workers. It appeared that they were beginning a contracting job. Is this correct or is this against the Mechiras Chametz contract? I would imagine that a Mechiras Chametz for a pizza store would mean that the store remain closed completely for the whole Pesach.
