Unfortunately, the Neeman Bakery located in Jerusalem’s German Colony neighborhood (37 Emek Refaim St – 02-566-0838) is at it again, false advertisement that is.

The man is a repeat offender, committing the same infraction as he did a number of months ago, advertising in the Jerusalem Post [weekend edition] that he is under the Jerusalem Rabbinate Mehadrin and OU.

In short, the OU claim is simply false. Yes, he does sell some OU pastries in sealed labeled packaging, but that is a far cry from the store being under the supervision of the OU hecsher.

Perhaps if you are in the area ask to see his OU hechsher and tell him you are tired of supporting stores who seek to dupe the public.
