Shlomi’s Burekas (44 Agrippas – near Machane Yehuda)
The burekas shop pizza store is now under the supervision of the Badatz Beit Yosef, dairy. According to the supervising agency, the bracha on the pizza is “hamotzei”. (02-623-3364)
This is the location which was previously Sonona Pizza, which was also Badatz Beit Yosef. The pizza shop was and Shlomi’s Burekas remains under the same ownership as the Marzipan Bakery located across the street.
1. I remember when everyone paskined that any pizza falls under the qualification of Pat Haba’ah B’kisnin, without adding anything special to the dough. This is, in fact, how I personally (continue) to hold.
2. Does this p’sak of Hamotzei for the pizza apply equally to Sefaradim and Ashkenazim?
