Chodosh Update

FOLLOWING AS OF SEPT 21- Cheerios and the oats in other cereals from General Mills, the Chodosh packing date is delayed from July 26 to Sept 15.

Therefore, for all Cheerios cereals sold in the USA the revised code is Sept 22 2010. The same date goes for most General Mills/Nestle cereals sold in Israel.

The exception is MultiGrain Cheerios for which the code when sold in Israel  is July 22 10.

    i thoght the chef rabnut does not appove any poducts using chadash.
    Do these cereals with chadash (when sold in Israel) have an approval from the chif rabnut?

    My box of Cheerios (bought at Yesh, with Hebrew on it) says 19SEPT10 16216A 9255CRCR.

    What does that mean?
