Ne’eman Bakery – Beit Shemesh (02-992-3640)

The new Ne’eman Bakery located in the Paz area of the N. Industrial Park in Beit Shemesh is under the two hechsherim, Beit Shemesh Rabbanut Mehadrin and Badatz Agudat Yisrael.

Signs exhibiting the symbol of the Jerusalem Rabbanut Mehadrin are simply not based in fact. The Jerusalem Rabbinate does not give any hechsher to this particular branch.

JKN thanks Joseph Dov Kohan for assistance in providing information and photos.

Clarification - the bakery displays a huge Agudas Yisroel sign in the window by the entrance, and that’s the only obvious kashrut display. They do have a certificate behind the register on the wall.

I’ve never seen a display of the Jerusalem rabbinate, but from your pictures it appears they used some bags from another store - which had Jerusalem rabbinate on it.

Agreed the Aguda symbol is very prominent, nothing else. I assume the signs were flyers put on cars, which they must have copied from another branch, since all their Y-lem branches have Yerushalayim Mehadrin.
