From what I understand of the issue on reading the bulletins, there was, rectoractively, nothing wrong with the kashrut in the first place. All the ingredients are supervised, and the issue was more to do with new supervisation personnel coming along and not wanting to trust an existing relationship between the kashrut agencies.

If I am totally off track here, I request that this reply not pass moderation. If my summary is an acceptable one, then am also happy to receive more elaboration.

This seems strange. The Rabbanate of Kiryat Arba (not the Chief Rabbinate) has restored the supervision. That is very good.

But Rav Lior had explained that the winery had been using unsupervised ingredients. If so, what about the kashrut of the wine and grape juice that was made with these ingredients?

Have these products been destroyed? Will they be sold to an unsuspecting public? What do we do about bottles we have purchased? What about bottles now of the store shelves?

We deserve to know what we may and may not drink before we purchase any more of these bottles.
