ALERT: Meshek Tzuriel Dairy
The Chief Rabbinate of Israel today released a memo in the name of Rabbi Yosef Chaim Rosenblatt, the Chief Rabbi of the Lower Galil Region pertaining to Meshek Tzuriel Dairy.
The rav’s stated as of 25 Nissan (April 19th), the Meshek Tzuriel Dairy will no longer carry a mehadrin supervision, only a regular kosher supervision, as per the decision of the new owners.
This pertains to the firm’s cow, goat and sheep cheeses and dairy products, which are carried in many cities across Israel.

Thanks for the alert. I am just wondering if this also concerns their Soy products; they have tofu, soy yogurts in different flavors (diet and regular). The last time I bought the yogurts, they had the Chatam Sofer (PT) as usual. But it could be that things have changed…? Does anyone know what the status of their soy products are? Thanks!

But oddly enough, it looks to me as if the Agudah Hechsher still says Mehadrin.

    Where does that leave us?
